Event Description
North America's largest metropolitan arts festival, Bumbershoot: Seattle's Music & Arts Festival is now in its 39th year. This progressive 3-day Festival offers a diverse array of arts including live music, comedy, theatre, dance, film, indie crafts, literary arts, visual arts, and spectacle. Since 1971, Bumbershoot has drawn artists and patrons from near and far to the 74-acre Seattle Center over Labor Day weekend. Located beneath the city's iconic Space Needle, the Festival grounds feature 20 indoor and unique outdoor venues, hosting 150,000 patrons over the course of the holiday weekend.
The Festival's array of indoor and outdoor venues draws top talent from around the world, while showcasing the finest from the Northwest. This unique urban event seamlessly integrates its many music stages with diverse and compelling arts offerings, creating an immense daily schedule for patrons of all ages and tastes.
