Next generation (3G iPhone) is being announced by Steve Jobs on June 9th. Jobs will deliver a keynote address on the first day of the 2008 World Wide Developers conference. (gizmodo)
(There's even a widget you could download off Apple's website counting down till this conference.).
The next gen iPhone should be available soon after that conference....
(Personally, can't wait for for the GPS on this....)
The iphone has revolutionized the cell phone industry. The best feature? Full internet browser. Next best feature? Voicemail being downloaded to the phone so you can pick and choose (like and mp3) which voicemail you want to listen to and delete. Whatever the application is, Apple once again has done an outstanding job of anticipating the users next step and incorporating it into the phone. Can't wait for the next gen, it'll be out of this world!
I bought my girlfriend one for xmas and fell in love with it myself, so she got me one for valentines, its been a true love affair since. We are both on TMobile and I actually enjoyed unlocking and personalizing them. The good things about these phones out weigh the bad by a ton. We had Dashes before and they were cool, but the iPhone is a geeky status symbol. similar to the coveted starbucks cup. I can't wait for the new update to come out. Steve Jobs is an artist first and foremost.
I want one so bad. They are awesome for personal use, but I need a PDA that I can use for work... and I've been told that they aren't good business phones.
