4 million sq ft underground space available. What would you do?

Louisville Kentucky has a HUGE underground space available for rent. By huge I mean - nearly 4 million square feet (more than 70 acres) with ceiling height ranging from 20 - 24 feet. Some of this was a natural cavern. Some of it was a fallout shelter during the Cuban Missile crisis. What would you do with access to such a space? Could you fill it with something amazing? Invent a new underground sport? Create an ark for humanity? Pictures and info are here.

I'd build the ultimate doomsday retreat. Then laugh at all the fools that try to get in once December 26th, 2012 rolls around. HAHA!!!! Just kidding. Pretty amazing place though!

Create my own super water park by taking all the best elements from Disneyland's water-themed rides. I think I'd start with 4 story drop-in à la Splash Mountain and segway into a Pirates of the Caribbean underground pool-nasium (with fully functional ships, forts, ports, wenches, etc) *Sighs, rolls eyes* Yes, you guys can come.

I like that idea! You could divert a river into one entrance and out another and create an entirely artificial wonderland all through the space. It doesn't have to be limited to Disney-esque elements either. I'm imagining something more intense where you are encapsulated in a pod flying through monster infested waters. Something like the underwater scene in one of the Star Wars movies.

I'd create a shelter. Who knows when we'll need a place like this. I'm sure the President and certain officials have their own- but for other people- I think thats what they should do with it.
