By now, you've all heard about Ricky Gervais' jokes on Sunday's Golden Globes. Did he go too far? Did you find him funny or offensive?

I think he was very funny, and applaud him for being real. Comedic material is great when it's raw and an uncut. Of course people would have different opinions on what he said about certain celebrates and movies, but isn't that what comedy is, the completely dismissal of political correctness?
"Complaining that Ricky Gervais was too rude is like inviting a shark to your paddling pool and moaning when it bites all the children."

hahaha couldn't have said it better myself!
The man's a comic genius...besides...more then half the people in the room that night make more then we'll ever do in two lifetimes...& will probably never know the real day to day life difficulties we go through...can't take a joke?

Tough...go buy a $50,000 watch or necklace then you big babies.
I thought he was hilarious and he only went too far if you're used to being surrounded by fawning sycophants. His poking fun at celebrities is what he was hired for.
A great man once said "fuck them if they can't take a joke".
super funny, plain and simple. Why did you think it was over the top?
I didn't think it was over the top at all. I think he did a great job - sure, he ruffled a few feathers but that's comedy. I thought it was hilarious...
He was great, it's a shame it will probably be his last time hosting the Golden Globes, I love De Niros expression at the Heffner joke!
Offensive and funny :)
I thought it was hilarious, these people are in the public eye so should expect to be ripped. I think Ricky will be back next year, he wasn't really worse than last year right?
