I saw this concept and wanted to see what you guys thought about it. Do you think a disposable paper laptop would be a good or bad idea? Why or why not?

Would be cool...but I'd question it's durability. For now, I'm happy with my eco-friendly macbook.

I can definitely see value in a product like this if I was in immediate need of a computer, but I don't think the environmental repercussions are worth it.

how about making a case that is indestructable that would never need to be replaced? sizing that was standardized so that internal components could be swapped? that would truly be eco friendly.

Do you mean the sizing of the notebook or the sizing of the internal components specifically?

The casing is part of the design. Knowing people change all the time, they would also have a need to change the physical appearance of something they use every day.

What would happen if you spilled coffee on it? Would it turn brown and warp? Sounds as if it's not durable enough to me.

Why the need? Def not eco friendly-why throw away if you can sustain...wasteful.
