Do you like this logo proposal for the city of London?

The idea for Rian Hughes's logo pulls on Milton Glaser's heart from 'I (heart) NY,' the RAF symbol which along with being British represents fashion and Carnaby street cool, and is combined with the name 'London' and the Union Jack.

What is your initial impression when looking at this logo by Rian Hughes? Love it or hate it?

I like it, actually... I would wear that
It's not bad. It also reminds me of the Love Park logo from Philly with the stacked letters.
I like it. It bites off New York a bit, but I think it represents London well.
I sorta like it, but feel like something's missing! My initial impression was, hey this reminds me of I <3 NY.
I have exactly the same feeling, something's missing (Maybe bigben in background)
I'd rather see something new and different, instead of playing off of another city's logo come up with something solely their own.
I like it but I 'd would have added in each letter a background of what London is made of : may be scottish pattern in one, patchwork in another, lily flowers with gold embroidery and logos of the brands with the Queen's label.
That's London for me.O goes weel with love for me
It wont be as iconic as I<3NY but it's actually really good
I agree with Amy...something is missing - aside from the colours, it doesn't shout "London" to me. I think I would like it better if they just kept the red circle inside the O instead of using a heart.
I think they should also have a picture of crooked teeth and maybe a reference to Austin Powers. Otherwise, I love it.
