A group of nurses are planning to sue New York state, saying mandatory swine flu vaccinations violate their civil rights.

My question to you:
Do you think certain people, such as hospital workers or students, should be forced to take mandatory H1N1 flu shots? If a doctor offered it to you, would you get vaccinated?

Of course I would trust it. I do a lot of work with CDC (Centers for Disease Control) and also have worked with many of the pharma companies. I know this industry. The vaccine is very safe. Unfortunately for me I already got H1N1 last week so there's no need now for me to get vaccinated, my body has already developed the antibodies.

I have to admit, I'm very leery of the shot, but will take one ON MY DOCTORS ADVICE.

I believe it's a conspiracy to brain wash us all into being Obama's mindless followers. Then we'd live in a world where Fascism and Communism run rampant. We'd somehow end up living like godless hedonist oddly though would somehow follow Islam.

Naww just kidding, I'd take the shot. I think it's prob a good idea to get some people the shot. If they're putting others at risk by not taking the shot, then I don't see how that couldn't be grounds for suspension or termination.

No. The reasons for vaccination are flimsy and a little research will show that most vaccines do more harm than good and don't necessarily promise immunity to whatever they are vaccinating for. In this case numbers dying from H1N1 are no higher than normal flu. Besides most vaccines have aluminium in them and I don't even like eating out of aluminium pots or using deodorant with aluminium in them so am not about to let someone inject it into my arm.
If you want immunity to colds and flue eat healthy, get adequate exercise, sunlight and good air. Supplement with good quality vitamins and minerals and you just won't get sick.

Thanks for your response. I can definitely see why people would hesitate to take it. I agree that eating healthy, getting adequate exercise, sunlight and good air are important, but I think this virus can get healthy people sick as well. If I worked in a hospital, school, or anywhere there were tons of people, I would consider taking the vaccine. Since that's not the case, I probably won't.

no never - more people have died after vaccinations than this flu. Media makes people panic and pharmaceutics monsters makes millions...(production cost about 1$ and selling for 70-150$) There is no proof that this vaccine works. Normally tests must take about 10 years... Do you know that this virus H1N1 is synthetic/ artificial? Ask doctor about mercury in vaccine?it is total poison for human health...

Definitely questionable. Anything that I have to inject in my body that comes from the government is shady. I won't be taking it.

Guys, please don't believe in conspiracy theories. More than thirty-six thousand people every year die from the flu in the US alone. Think about it:: that is twelve times as many people as died in 9/11. Yes, you can reduce your risks by staying healthy and eating right but that doesn't mean you definitely won't get sick. I exercise a minimum of 5 hours per week, eat an extremely healthy diet of organic vegetables, fruit, fish and small amounts of grass fed or free range meats, take high quality supplements, and spend a lot of time outdoors -- and I still got H1N1. It can and does happen.

Life is all about intelligently managing your risks. The odds of getting harmed by a vaccine are not zero. Nothing ever is. But taking the vaccine does dramatically lower your chances of contracting the disease. In this case the numbers are drastically in favor of taking the shot.

My doctor called me in and, because of my age and very compromised health, gave me another Pneumonia shot [ after 4 years ] AND the Flu shot,, with instructions to get the H1Ni as soon as it's available....Now [kidding] I'm afraid to take a drink of water in case it leaks out !. "JPs"
