A steamy Calvin Klein billboard that seems to show a teenage girl in a threesome - with suggestions of a foursome - is raising eyebrows. Do you think this billboard on a building at Lafayette and Houston Sts. in SoHo, is too racy? Is it bordering on pornographic?

Has CK gone too far?

It's like playing with fireworks. You want to be enough on the edge that you get everyone's attention but you've got to be careful not to cross over the line and blow yourself up! This type of advertising is just a way to get noticed among the continuous barrage competing for our attention. Even negative publicity is better than no notice at all. In fact negative reactions can be better advertising than than any other (see the Streisand Effect). It is possible however to go too far and get yourself in trouble. In today's world though you'd have to go VERY VERY far for that to really happen. If you don't like it then your best course is just to ignore it and not but their product. Anything else just directs more attention to them.
"It's like playing with fireworks. You want to be enough on the edge that you get everyone's attention but you've got to be careful not to cross over the line and blow yourself up!" Well said!
too much clothes on to be racy.
I think it's the same dude three times
Is it racy? Sure. Has it gone too far? I don't really think so. Like someone already said, it looks like it's the same guy just in three different positions. Nothing's exposed, and like most people have already mentioned, the point is to toe that line between racy and obscene, making sure you fall into racy but get close enough to the line to make everyone talk and take notice.
Who defines..........what's racy anyway?
What was considered racy 10 years ago, is nowhere near racy now. What is not racy now in one place could be blasphemous in another.

So it really depends on the place, time and the general sentiment of the people who are actually going to look the ad.

In my opinion, its racy for sure, but I don't see any boundaries being breached yet.
I didn't notice first that it was the same latin lover, I focused on the postures not the faces and I found it rather racy (might be lazy but one is far enough!)feel like being back to Greeks or Romans times !
It's weird and clever that the advertiser may think women could be excited but the fact of having 3 men in 1depending on the pair of jeans he is wearing. It is so true that one can feel confortable in his clothes if they stick to his mood.
Well, now I'll think of it if I have to buy a present !
by the way- it's on Sunset in Hollywood too.
