Is Kanye's "all about the fans" move too little too late?

Kanye West is set to give his fans a special festive treat - he's releasing one song every week until Christmas.

The rapper has announced plans to offer up a new track on every Friday in the lead-up to Christmas Day.

In a post on his Twitter page, he writes, "I know y'all need the music so I'm dropping 1 new song every weekend until Xmas. It may be my song, it may be a new Jay (Z) song etc. I'm calling it good Fridays. Y'all know every Friday y'all gone have a new joint from our family. We look at the game completely different now.

"It's about the fans. No more holding back. That's why I dropped See Me Now... It wasn't about me, it was about the summer, the BBQs etc."

The songs are expected to be released through West's official website.

Interesting marketing move by Kanye. But after his Taylor Swift diss are we all ready to embrace him again?

Well, I love his music. Power is one of them. I say, yeap, we still love you Kanye. Those mic-swiping days are over and was entertaining while it lasted.
All I know about Kayne West is the result of his insane posturing and ridiculous antics.

I'm not sure I've ever heard one of his songs.

Is he giving these songs away, or is this all about making KW rich for Christmas?
It looks like the songs will be free downloads.
I love his music but overall he's kind of a jerk.
