Is the site loading up too slowly?

This week you may have noticed that we put up a flash player on the homepage. We thought this might be a cool feature for everyone - so that you could see our featured posts.

My concern is that the site is loading up too slow now. I'd love to know your thoughts on this.

Update: Since the site was loading up too slowly, we've taken the flash player off the front page. Thanks for your feedback!
