It's Time To Play 'Abdomen or Penis!'

This little piece of religious art has some members of Warr Acres Catholic church up in arms. It seems where some see an abdomen others see a well endowed savior. What do you think?

Whoever did this was trying to be funny and I don't think it's very funny. I really don't care either but it's kind of OBVIOUS what it's showing.

I think the artist did it on purpose. I don't know when this was made but there are many very well known instances of medieval artists putting some very funny stuff into their paintings (see here for some of them).

Well, in art you see what you want to see... To me it looks like Byzantine inspired Jesus by a painter who failed anatomy.

I think the answer might be that the artist was subconsciously thinking of penis and didn't know it!

I thought it was an abdoment at first. But the shape does represent 'that'. Hmm..
