M.I.A.'s newest video shows red headed people being rounded up by a special forces unit, brought to an isolated camp in the desert and hounded to their death. Highly reminiscent of the tactics used by Cambodian troops in the times of the Khmer Rouge.

The video is extremely graphic. Just to warn anyone with a bit of a flimsy stomach.

The video has been banned on youtube: http://powertotravel.gather.com/viewArticle.action?articleId=281474...

It was directed by the same guy who directed Stress by Justice.

You can vie it here on Vimeo:

My question to you: Should a video like this be banned? While extremely graphic it does illustrate the dangers of big government, the mechanics of genocide and the capability of human destruction.

What do you think?

First off this a great video and a great song, welcome back M.I.A. I don't really care that youtube banned the video since it is easily available to view on Vimeo. If I couldn't find the video online I suppose then it would be an issue.
I'm NOT surprised. Haha! It was disturbing and was like a film instead of a music video. But that's what you get from M.I.A. and Romain-Gavras combined! Controversy!
