Which bands or artists inspire you? Is there one specific CD you listen to on repeat when you are inspired? Over all, I'm just curious to see how music fits into art in your life.

Ahhh silence is proven to be better for me sometimes. More power to you for using silence. I just can not work in silence! haha I need my music :)

i know exactly what you mean. if im doing homework or something then i need noise if its quite then i start thinking and cant concentrate only when i draw in my free time i like silence

hmmmm we have the homework part in common haha I haven't drawn in awhile. I tend to write how I feel as opposed to drawing them. Even then, I like music. Though the majority of the time I'm not paying attention.

depends what mood i'm in. but every time a new switchfoot album comes out i listen to it pretty much for a day straight, and then broaden my band binge to all their albums for another few days.

bill frisell when i need to chill. chris rea when I need the blues. newsboys when i need to worship.

I put a mix of John Mayer, Adele, Ray Lamontange, 30 seconds to mars, and The Beatles to get my juices flowing when Im doing work.

I'm really intrigue at all the creative artists putting their own spin on things. For instance, here is an a Capella piece by Dave Wallace and Chelsea-Lynn Heins of the Postal Service's, Such Great Heights. It's truly amazing how they build all the different musical elements using just their voices!
