After reading Frenchy Dave's bacon wrapped prune recipe, I was thinking of other odd combinations of food.
A few that come to mind,
Watermelon and Salt
Tomatoes and Sugar.
It's the balance between the flavors that make these so great.
Koreans love eating tomatoes that way, they even have a tomato popsicle, pictured below. YUMMY!

Any other combinations you could recommend?

I recently discovered curry ketchup. It is BOMB on sausage.

Pepperidge Farms sesame sticks, or, pretzels, with cream cheese is a favorite snack.

Really? Hmmm, intriguing. I dunno, I got think about this one a minute... HEY! YEAH! Like those choclatey-orange-smashballs! (that didn't sound right) Ya know, you add a splash of vodak and maybe, just maybe some trip-sec you might really have something here... but if I go blind or stroke-out, this was all your idea.

Here in Ireland Chips (fries to you guys stateside) can come drizzled in curry sauce. Its divine, but i've recently taken to adding a big wad of coleslaw to it also this is something that looks so wrong yet tastes so wonderful.
Also some people here add garlic mayonaise and grated cheddar to their chips/fries
In mainland europe they add ordinary mayonaise to chips/fries, but that's just plain weird if you ask me. :-)
