I don't know about being overrated. I think only time can tell that. If she is writing all her own songs, & she is appealing to her fans, for what ever reason, takes talent. I think she is just different lyrics to an old tune. Like Joan Crawford in my moms era, & Madonna in my time, & now lady gaga. Staying power will be the sign of her true talents. If she can reinvent herself to stay relevant in her fans minds then she will become an iconic symbol for her generation. If not she will be a flash in the pan, or a wasted talent like Amy Weinhouse.
