Hello everyone,

I am a newspaper journalist and have been a sometime photographer, mostly for personal enjoyment rather than work, for several years. This year I started a photo blog consisting entirely of black-and-white images taken on my BlackBerry smartphone. I find the limitations of the technology to be a good creative challenge. I hope you enjoy some of the images, which you can view at

I firmly believe that if you have the soul it does not matter what the tool...I can see you soul and I love that these are from your blackberry not your expensive camera with lots of lenses and this and that. I am an old school film lover I covet the time in a dark room but all that means nothing if you cant see and capture the moment or cause emotion in the person viewing your images. You did that for me on your blackberry...Photo snobs will object only because you exposed your method before they saw the images but thats just ego. I thank you for you honesty and sharing your images.
