A man in Sacramento has begun a grassroots campaign to outlaw divorce in California. He’s trying to get the “2010 California Marriage Protection Act” up for a statewide vote sometime next year.

The man behind it — John Marcotte — has pulled off a number of harmless social pranks before. But this time, he’s not saying if the proposal is real.

My question to you: What do you think? Should marriage be until “death do us part?”

I don't think it should be banned, I just think it should be harder to obtain.
Perhaps for long enough to exert an irreversible Darwinian outcome on the gene pool of divorce lawyers.
And meanwhile, spellcheckers should be made compulsory for blog editors :-)

For once ,I don't feel being in the wrong.I always said I would not sign a wedding contract as long as I'm not sure I met the one I would love to share the rest of life with.
