The Snuggie Dilemma

So the Snuggie made its way to my local grocery market. I felt it yesterday for the first time and I have got to say, that baby's pretty soft. Here's my dilemma. Though I love to spot trends, I'm always cautious about following them. I'm trying to justify purchasing this, however, as being about the experience.

I really want the Snuggie. I can just imagine putting it on in the morning and never taking it off. (This is the point at which my husband shakes his head in sadness.) Maybe if I got it as a gift it wouldn't be so bad as buying it myself.

What should I do? Have you bought the Snuggie? Would you buy it?

I have to say, it's pretty amazing. The lack of a backside is a little disappointing, so you can't really walk around with it on. But for watching a movie or football game on the couch, it can't be beat. I was a little weary since the material is on the thin side, but it's kept me perfectly warm and toasty so far!
