Trend: Over-the-knee boots - Cool or fool?

Rachel Zoe mentioned that over-the-knee boots were going to be all the rage come this fall. Then, the NY Times reported that "In Paris, a popular leg covering this fall is the over-the-knee boot."

What do you think of this trend? Ladies, would you rock it?

Is it cool or would you be fool if you wore these?

I have some in brown not with high heels : rather confy to wear .I on't wear them when I feel like being a musketeer.

i think not in public so much. they have been termed "hooker boots" time to time. i dont think guys should wear them.

This was popular in Paris two years ago when I was there but I don't think it's really caught on unless your 6'2".
