Trend: Over-the-knee boots - Cool or fool?

Rachel Zoe mentioned that over-the-knee boots were going to be all the rage come this fall. Then, the NY Times reported that "In Paris, a popular leg covering this fall is the over-the-knee boot."

What do you think of this trend? Ladies, would you rock it?

Is it cool or would you be fool if you wore these?

Imagine a situation where u can't even pull up the boot simply because your calf is not co operating.
then again, you can't have stick legs because it won't fill the boot.
