I just spent 4 1/2 days at a country music festival surrounded by mud and booze as well as 24, 999 other people. I think I'll go camping alone with my husband and dog next year.

I'm moving to Australia on August 25th, so my summer will be long... i'm looking forward to a ton of surfing.

I will have a busy summer .I have to go to plenty of marriage ceremonies .and I will have one at my place-the wedding of my sister in law ;then I will go out every night to festivals ;I will spend most of my time on the beach ;I will swim, play beach ball , have a tan and meet my frinds ;Every day will bring some joy for me

This summer is bittersweet for me. We are currently at a beach house having a ton of fun - swimming in the surf, laying on the sand, fishing, clamming, playing poker deep into the night, and enjoying each others company. But in 8 days or youngest goes off to college and it will be just my wife and I in the house. It will seem very strange not to have kids running in and out constantly, worrying about school projects, attending sporting events, and volunteering our time. It will be pretty quiet for a change. So we are soaking up every minute of this summer we can.

Here's a photo of him I shot 2 nights ago. We were going gigging for flounder at a private island attached to our beach house. It was right at dusk, just as we were starting out. Not a bad shot for the camera in my Droid!
