Big Band and Jazz are the best for me. Beautiful music with feeling, relaxing and inspiring

Love listening to jazz at work. You named some gems!!
A lot of folks have mentioned jazz as a music that we play at work. I wonder if it's more instrumental music without the distraction of words, or being able to work while your creative brain is multi-tasking, zoning on the organized chaos of the music and our respective workloads.

Perhaps that's a future and separate topic, altogether. :-p
Would you make a torrent of your best work tunes? We would be forever grateful!
rock music for sure!!!
Love how rock music picks me up when I'm tired.
A lot of the time I just put the Ipod on shuffle at work and it will play anything from Billie Holliday to Slayer!
When working at the coffee shop in the early hours of the morning, nothing gets me going like good ol' blues rock.
Usually anything from the 30's-60's. I love Big band, jazz, oldies but goodies. But my collection is all over the place. LIke Kevin, I usually just put on the shuffle and she what happens!
Classical and jazz. Can't focus otherwise.
