I live in Monmouth, Oregon in the US. It is small and unheard of. It is only known for it's small college, Western Oregon University. Known as a "teachers" school in Oregon. Besides the college, basically all we have is fast food!

Portland, Oregon! :)
I live in Madrid, it´s known for it´s sun, friendly people, party....party....and more party!,... but I want that you meet a lovely spanish city: Segovia, it´s near Madrid (one hour) and it´s known for it´s enormous Roman Aqueduct, the snow, the history, the castle...it´s beautiful!!!!!!!! come here!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow! The castle is truly awesome! I so have to go visit! I need to show my wife what a real castle looks like, instead of the Mickyland facade that we have here!
Great photographs, there are some great castles in Germany too and of course here in England. It is unusual to see one in such good condition and looked after though.

Springfield, Ohio.

Sadly, it's one of the worst cities in the US, as far as general well-being is concerned: http://www.springfieldnewssun.com/news/springfield-news/springfield...

Back in the 1070s, I remember either Time or Newsweek calling it an all-American city and featuring some of my cousins in a story on fulfilling the American dream.

I've moved back along with many others of my age group to try and rebuild it, rather than wash our hands of our hometown and abandon it to decay.

Good things about the city? Caring people, some good restaurants, low cost of living, close to Dayton, Columbus, and Cincinnati, Wittenburg University, minutes from Yellow Springs, Ohio and Young's Jersey Dairy, lots of trees and natural beauty in the county, historic buildings (including Westcott House, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright)...

We're working on it!
Liverpool is known for shipping, the beatles, football or soccer if you are outside the UK, its a wonderfully diverse place, lots of nice buildings, beaches, and my home.
