my town is known for everyone saying hello may it be a wave, a head knod or tilt of the hat, to each other regardless of juxtasposition may you be a local or an out of towner, for the most part. not everyones friendly haha, though you kin tell who's from here, lives here, moved here and is here just for use of Chico State. no where is that perfect. you kin ride your bike round upper or lower bidwell park(one of the largest municipal parks in the country) and say hello to fellow bikers,hikers,walkers, people on horseback, doggies and some native wildlife, and especially in the spring wildflowers all over. at farmers market located downtown with the streets closed you see all the people you share your home with and enjoy the local splendors of summer. or go to one of the many swimming holes along the many creeks littered through the streets or the designated pool at 1 mile called sycamore pool, its a creek turned into a pool so cool. numerous taco trucks to try and find a favourite, its hard theres so many and are quite delishish. and lastly my favourite my city is known for its numerous native and non-native trees planted by the founders john and annie bidwell alongst the streets. some streets are named after the trees even, and during fall (nothing like o'er on the east coast) the trees look gorgeuos different hues from trees of different walks of life adding color to everyones daily commute or bike ride to enjoy the sights.
I live in Chico California, and i love it here. we've a small taste of everything here.
