I just don't bother, if I leaéve town means I don't feel in there anymore ! I know what I've been through what is true or not and give anymore a damn of what people can say!
This is an important question because it causes, or should cause people to think about what really matters to them, and get them to examine if they are spending any part of their existence on something that matters to them.
Her life was a testament to the power of making a decision. Deciding to take the harder road at each intersection of life to achieve goals that no one believed possible, except me. Achieving those goals, through a lot of hard work and hard and sometimes lonely decisions, allowed the freedom to be able to help others achieve their potential. The journey means nothing, if you don't use that experience to lift, carry and teach others to "pay it forward" and build communities one person at a time. You cannot take anything with you, but you can instill life experiences to inspire others to keep your spirit alive when you're gone.
Nicely put. I especially like your last line. "You cannot take anything with you, but you can instill life experiences to inspire others to keep your spirit alive when you're gone." That's beautiful.
I actually am leaving town and I'm not sure how people will remember me when I'm gone..My friends say they are all sad but I'm not..I think it's time for a change and I hope they have nothing but fond memories of me regardless of any tiffs. In fact I hope the move inspires certain friends to get their lives together..the move is for the better in my case and it's a big decision to make. I hope it encourages others to think they can do it too and strive for better opportunities that may be elsewhere.
I guess I laugh a lot so I'm sure that will be something that people will mention when I leave town.."whose going to laugh at all my lame jokes?" the cheesier the joke..the better. Other than that, I went to a lot of movies so people always asked me my opinion on different films. That's all I can think really think of.
My friends and loved one say, they would miss...
a good dependable friend,
an encouraging individual
a person who made them laugh
someone who could wolf down a whole buffet table
