Thailand is a great place, relatively cheap and tons of fun.
Tahiti or Fiji are other great honeymoon destination, a little expensive but worth it for the tranquility and beauty.
Costa Rica's a place full of adventure and good food at a reasonable price.

We were supposed to go to Mexico, but 3 days before our wedding our honeymoon got cancelled due to swine flu. We ended up going to Cuba instead. LOVED it there... I'm really happy I went. The beaches are so beautiful and the people are lovely.

Oh, but I guess if you're American you can't go there. But if the states ever lifts the embargo, or if you get a fake Canadian passport you should check it out! lol.
