I bought a watch similar to this one about 20 years ago. It was recommended to me by two astronauts who wore the same model on their shuttle flights. It cost me about $20. I use it as my sport watch. It is still running strong today after
- climbing five mountains
- rock climbing dozens of faces
- numerous scuba diving trips
- several caving expeditions
- thousands of miles of running
- rafting several Class V rivers
It is on its third battery and fourth watchband and doesn't show any signs of stopping. For 20 bucks I call that a very good buy.
