Gianfilippo De Rossi in L'Aquila

Three months after being devastated by earthquake, Gianfilippo De Rossi visited the Italian city of L’Aquila. The death toll after the April 6th 2009 earthquake is 308, and over 65 000 were homeless as large segments of the historic city were devastated. A tragedy of staggering size and scope, more alarming than the quake itself, were the shoddy construction on many new homes which led to collapse. De Rossi takes a remarkable look at ruins where earlier families had lived.
