Rose’s halo

Every year the cycle of seasons occurs and with the cold winter coloured gardens are replaced by dry and dusty landscapes.
But this year in Saltwell Park a magical transformation takes place, revealing an almost endless variety of roses.
The idea is to confer at Rose Garden the enchanted look that has during spring time trough the installation of bunches of red glowing roses, as a sort of roses’ halo.
Passing through the bushes different voices evoke the Latin original name of the different species of roses:

….Floribunda roses, semperflorens, Rosa indica var fragrans, Rosa lutea, Rosa pernetiana, Rosa lutea, Rosa Muschata, Rosa canina, Rosa chinensis, Rosa Eglanteria, Rosa dumalis:, Rosa gallica, Rosa gigantea Rosa glauca, Rosa laevigata, Rosa majalis, Rosa multiflora, Rosa persica, Rosa pimpinellifolia, Rosa roxburghii, Rosa rubiginosa....

The aim is to create an Imaginary and enchanted garden that remember us the everlasting flow of time and the fragility of nature’s beauty.

.....Stat rosa pristina nomine, nomina nuda tenemus ......
