Some random facts about me:

I am horrible at Mathematics.

I have this annoying habit of answering a different incoherent answer to a simple yes/no question.

I can be a geek sometimes. Cool gadgets, Glee, you name it.

My favourite classic story book is Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens.

I am of Chinese blood, but I can barely read and write Chinese. Parents been nagging the importance of my mother language.

I don't like vegetables with funky colours such as pumpkins, eggplants, sweet potatoes and carrots! (I'm starting to get used to carrots, but hell no to the pumpkin!

I actually love baking! Well I don't technically bake(don't have the utensils and ingredients), but I love watching cakes and all those yummylicious treats being made!

Have three sisters and one brother and I'm the black sheep of the family. (Or should I say the artistic one? Hmm) Hehe! :)

I absolutely love cream puffs!! Especially with the custard fillings! Bliss! :)

Graduated from Limkokwing University '08 with a Diploma in Animation and Multimedia Design. But I work as a designer now. What a change!

I'm a fan of colours. You can totally tell from the blog posts and photos I've uploaded. :) My favourite colour is green.

My left ear is bigger than my right ear.

I absolutely love Coldplay!

I love sharing design inspirations I find on the net. I'm happy to know that I've brighten someone's day, or simply made them smile.

I hate spams.

I can be a hypocrite. Haha!

Named my cat Simon, after Simon's cat!

I love a great laugh.

I hope you all have a nice day!

Creative Experience: Greenville Literacy Association Street Illusions (4pics + video)

Greenville Literacy Association, a group that helps illiterate adult students, are out to promote their "Really Good, Really Big, Really Cheap Book Sale", a fair where books are sold at a bargain price. And what better way to do that than street illusions!

The concept behind this, created by the Bounce… Continue

Dalton Ghetti : Amazing Pencil Sculptures (15pics)

These are miniature pencil sculptures, sculpted by Dalton Ghetti from Bridgeport. The 45 year old only uses a blade, a sewing needle and very bright light, all without the use of a magnifying glass! Dalton Ghetti has been patiently carving miniature pieces of sculpted art on pencils for the past 25 years, and one tiny carved sculpture can take several months whereas a larger creation can take 2 1/2 years.…

Inception Review: Nearly Perfect!

Before you watch Inception, be sure to keep an open mind and expect lots of plot twists and complex storylines, that will keep you begging for more! All I can say is, when the story progressed, it kept getting intense every minute, all the way till the end, and I applaud Christopher Nolan, for coming up with this priceless jewel of a movie he called Inception. One of his finest, definitely!

I had been waiting for this movie for ages, as soon…

We are in the process of working on getting one for the Met. As for the exact date, I am not sure when we will have it ready. One is coming, though :)

You know every time you send me a message I get busy. You're like the work fairy or something... Now if I could find the money fairy I'll be set. The gallery thing is a mess. The plan is to help her transition to an online store and hopefully I can move my stuff somewhere else. I'm selling work but not getting for it so professionally this situation is clearly not going to work.

September was disappointing, nothing worthwhile really happened. It was a horrible month for electronics though. I my 1tb hard drive and Tivo both died on me. I have high hope for this month though. You'll be jealous of this, I bought a speedlight (Nikon SB-200) and did the photography for my grandmothers 80th birthday party on the 9th, which I'm still processing. I also did another photoshoot with another friend the weekend before that. Still not getting paid for anything yet. At least my portfolio is getting a little plumper though. Who knows it could lead to money down the road.

Be careful not to push yourself too hard. You can only push so much before something has to give. On a side note... If you're looking for something other than friends to take pictures of, why not a self portrait? That's how Barnaby came along after all. I think it would be enlightening to see the Amy Wong version of Barnaby.
