September was disappointing, nothing worthwhile really happened. It was a horrible month for electronics though. I my 1tb hard drive and Tivo both died on me. I have high hope for this month though. You'll be jealous of this, I bought a speedlight (Nikon SB-200) and did the photography for my grandmothers 80th birthday party on the 9th, which I'm still processing. I also did another photoshoot with another friend the weekend before that. Still not getting paid for anything yet. At least my portfolio is getting a little plumper though. Who knows it could lead to money down the road.
Be careful not to push yourself too hard. You can only push so much before something has to give. On a side note... If you're looking for something other than friends to take pictures of, why not a self portrait? That's how Barnaby came along after all. I think it would be enlightening to see the Amy Wong version of Barnaby.
saludos.
