Well, my official title is 'Worship Arts Pastor', but thought the word 'worship' could be off-putting or create unnecessary false impressions that might alter conversations with other Metropolites.
My dream of what an Arts Pastor does and how it actually manifests on a day to day basis are separated by a fairly wide gulf. Basically, I work at a church and act as a pastor over the release of artists and arts in the worship of God (the God of the Bible in our case). As of now, we're in the infancy stage of this role and I really end up being the guy that helps people sing songs and play instruments every Sunday. My hope is that the often marginalized artists in our community would be discipled in their artistry and knowledge of the Giver of art to the point that their growth as artists and Christians become so intertwined that could not imagine one without the other.
I'm not sure how that is going to look on a day-to-day basis, but I'm dreaming about it. That's part of the reason I was drawn to this website/community. I want to grow and learn as an artist and to relearn what it means to be in a community so that I can better pastor and shepherd the community of Artist/Christians I have been gifted at my church.

There are two groups of pics on the"Shockingly Honest ".it was modified by the editor when confirmed to publish it .it probably cos of the article forms on this website.
And i certaninly agree with u for the comment about the two series of pics .it's very important to communicate with the camera to express the whole stuffs of the things n' also stands out of yourself as a model .
