About Me

I was born and raised in Southern California and have yet to find a legitimate reason to live anywhere else. LA is good because of the weather, diversity, food, art scene and nightlife. What makes it great is enjoying it with my family and friends that live here.

I have three older sisters and I'm the youngest in my family. My closest friends are like my brothers. I consider myself very fortunate to have been surrounded by these people my entire life.

I spend my free time watching European football, specifically the English premier league. GO MAN U! I like to rough it outdoors, and if money wasn't an issue, I would travel all over the world and leave today.

As Partner & Chief Operating Officer of My Modern Met, I hope to add value to the community in any way I can. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help. Thanks!

Street Fighter Art Show Tribute

Ron English

For many kids (and now adults), Street Fighter is one of the most iconic arcade games of all time. Last weekend, San Francisco lifestyle boutique Bait paid tribute to the game by throwing a Street Fighter event featuring an art exhibition, mini tournament which was streamed live with onsite commentary, and a personal appearance by series producer Ono-san.

Colorful Large Scale Mural Tributes Late Brazilian Architect

Brazilian street artist Eduardo Kobra recently completed this gigantic 170 ft mural on Paulista Avenue, one of Sao Paulo's busiest streets. The colorful piece is a tribute to Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, who passed away last December at the age of 104. Kobra and a team of four other artists worked six hours a day to complete the mural, and some of the colorful forms are…

Hundreds of Paint Droplets Form 3D Portraits

San Francisco-based artist Chris Dorosz places hundreds of tiny paint drops on a grid of acrylic rods to create an incredible 3D effect within his artwork.

"Out of material discovery I began to regard the primacy of the paint drop, a form that takes shape not from a brush or any human-made implement or gesture, but purely from its own viscosity and the air it falls…

Tragedy of Lance Armstrong Expressed Through Street Art

For many years Lance Armstrong was hailed as a hero, a survivor of cancer who went on to win the Tour de France seven times. His reign as a champion was not without controversy. Accusations of doping seemed to follow him wherever he went and the cyclist denied the claims vehemently, often calling his accusers names and even going as far as suing them successfully.

Just last week, in…

Global Street Artist Places Local People Next to His Murals

French street artist Seth Globepainter travels around the world, creating large scale murals and placing local city dwellers next to them. Whether in India, China, Mexico, or other countries, this adds a human element to Globepainter's artwork and gives us a peek inside the culture of these places. Especially impressive is how all of his pieces feel distinctly different, further showcasing…

Thanks for the add, and I really like your work. I'm looking into doing that type of photography, and am looking for some help in that area. I have a Hasselblad that I can borrow from my dad, and have lights and backgrounds to use. I could use some pointers, and also resources to get started.
