Mark Huckabee said… - I worked at Kennedy Space Center for 13 years. I was in the payload side of things (the satellites and experiments). I started on STS-6 (the sixth shuttle launch) and mostly worked payloads for shuttle launches. I also worked on a number of unmanned launches (Delta and Atlas-Centaur) and a number of military projects including the Star Wars missile-defense program. It was very exciting. I've been away from there now for many years. I do miss the Florida beaches but I don't miss the heat and humidity!
