I've Got a New York State of Mind in My Closet

I've had a spare bedroom in my house that has been, well, way too spare for the past few years. As in, a bed, a dresser, and basically a lot of dead space. I mean I don't have so many visitors over that I need a whole room set aside for a continuous flow of friends and family coming in and out.

Eco PR ~ Save Your Logo Conservation Program

I saw this on If It's Hip It's Here and had to re-post it because I thought it was so clever and relevant - the details are pretty cut and dry so I'll just paraphrase from Laura Sweet's post (since it's for a public good and all). Laura writes:

"The principle of Save Your Logo is simple:

Save Your Logo creates an opportunity for companies represented by a plant or animal in their logo to contribute to the conservation of that species.… Continue

ICFF Report: RazorTooth Design

Ever since images of Karl Lagerfeld's paper flowers at the Spring Chanel Show in Paris trickled out, products that have the image of cascading white flowers always grab my attention. Gisele as Muse ~ Solve Sundsbo photography

With the concept of the Model as Muse exhibit at the Met in NYC in mind, I was really excited when I came across these shots of Gisele Bündchen by Norwegian photographer Solve Sundsbo. Remarkable!

Hey, I love Isotrope's Geotable design. Have you seen Flexible Love's chairs and sofas? They are brilliant. Just don't spill your drink on them .

Here is the link to their site.

Hey Carrie,

I shrieked with delight when I visited Joe Cariani's site! You see I have this love for glass also for venetian glass etc. Earlier I was browsing and stumbled upon amazing lamps made by Jeremy Pyles. And so after reading your post and visiting Cariani's site I thought you might also like Pyles' work. His work has a bit of a retro feel.
