Forgive Us Our Tresspassing - Banksy (2 pics)

Of all the pieces that Banksy recently put up in Utah, I especially love this one spotted outside downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. The clever stencil features a graffiti boy praying for forgiveness. "Forgive Us Our Trespassing," it states. As always, the whimsical way he plays with words and images is brilliant!…

NASA's One-Man Electric Aircraft (video inside)

Is it possible for a one-person electric plane to take off vertically and fly 300 mph? NASA says yes, and shows us how it's done with Puffin, a single-passenger aircraft that's 10 times quieter than the most hushed helicopters.

The design, accomplishing the same goal as a jetpack with a cockpit, could be the closest man has ever come to flying like a…

Amazing Piece: Monument Yard by Andrew Schoultz

I'm really diggin' this large scale painting by Andrew Schoultz. Measuring 11′ x 24′, "Monument Yard" took about one and a half years to finish, and is a monument to turbulent times. It was originally on view at the Torrance Art Museum, and will now make it’s way to Milan, where it will be shown at the Jerome Zodo Contemporary on March 11th.…

Wayne Levin - Stories Of The Sea In Black and White

The picture above looks like the brave young man has fallen down from inferno straight through a fiery bellowing cloud. He's actually swimming in the sea, going underneath a rolling wave. These photographs have a vintage look to them. They make me feel somewhat nostalgic about something I've never even done before...like free diving for example.

While most would choose colour photographs to document the underwater world, not surprising…

David Blaine - How I Held My Breath for 17 Minutes: TED

"In this highly personal talk from TEDMED, magician and stuntman David Blaine describes what it took to hold his breath underwater for 17 minutes -- a world record (only two minutes shorter than this entire talk!) -- and what his often death-defying work means to him.

Called a 'modern-day Houdini' by The New York Times, David Blaine made himself a household name with TV special David Blaine: Street Magic -- shedding the sweeping glitz and drama of other TV… Continue

My Modern Vixen - Miranda Kerr: GQ (4 pics)

Supermodel Miranda Kerr is arguably the sexiest woman on the planet. The Victoria's Secret Angel and girlfriend of Orlando Bloom stripped down for the February issue of GQ, hitting newsstands January 26th.

In the interview the 26-year-old revealed that she grew up on the back of her dad's motorcycle in Australia, she likes Dr. Dre, and she has an ex-boyfriend who's in jail for stealing money from finance clients, some of whom he reportedly met through Kerr's mom.…

Skateboarders Helping Haiti

Back in the day people would often think of skateboarders as a bunch of hooligans and criminals. Anyone who has ever ridden on four urethane wheels and wood knows the truth, skateboarders have big hearts. That's why it does not surprise me that Canadian company Control Manufacturing has made these awesome skateboards with all proceeds going to the Canadian Red Cross in their efforts to help… Continue

Conan's Craigslist Entries

Conan O'Brien bows out in style...via Craigslist. On a recent episode of The Tonight Show, Conan not only put himself, but the show up on Craigslist. Posts on the site usually expire after a week or so, so I grabbed a few screenshots:

Good to see all the internal political drama over at NBC hasn't stifled the writer's creativity. Here's to hoping Conan and team…

Magnificent Animal Scuptures Frozen in Mid-Air (12 pics)

These highly-dynamic sculptures by visual artist Claire Morgan are captivating on so many different levels. Many of the animals in her artwork seem to evoke a potential for freedom and life’s poignant vulnerability. Godfather Horsehead Pillow (2 pics)

Nothing says "I want you dead" more than this Horsehead Pillow inspired from The Godfather. You may remember the infamous scene in the classic film where a movie producer finds the head of his favorite horse on his bed, as a present of Don Corleone.
