Terry Border is one of our favorite creative people on the planet. He never ceases to amaze us, as he takes boring, everyday objects and makes them come alive!
What's great about his work is that it can be enjoyed by everyone. Young or old, we can all get a good chuckle out of his hilarious, bent objects.
Phuket is one of those places you can easily get lost in, letting go off all the baggage accumulated from big city life. Arthur Inamov created this beautiful video of a trip to Thailand. As Andrew Sullivan of the Atlantic says, "it's like going on a virtual vacation."
Brazilian architect David Guerra was commissioned to completely remodel a 1980′s house in Brazil. The owners wanted to make the house more modern, and create new spaces to make it compatible with their new lifestyle.
Guerra designed the house to make it seem like it was always opened for friends. By making the interior/exterior integration bigger, the garden plays a bigger role in day-by-day… Continue
Lately, many companies have been jumping onto the projection mapping bandwagon. The latest one comes from Lexus, who used the opportunity to launch their new CT 200h Full Hybrid. A drummer throws down some beats, while wicked visuals are projected onto the Château de Saint-Germain-en-Laye in France.
Toronto-based Rob Gonsalvez has an extraordinary skill and his illustrations are some of the most imaginative and creative I've ever seen. His style is based on toying with our perception of reality and he does it in such a way that the subjects he paints almost seem tangible. He combines different angles and strange perspectives, and the transition in his images is smooth and… Continue
Jerry Uelsmann is a pioneer of surreal photography. He began assembling photographs from multiple negatives decades before digital tools like Photoshop were available. Back in the day, he was even friends with legendary nature photographer Ansel Adams and taught workshops with him in Yosemite for years.
Uelsmann stated assembling images from multiple negatives back in the early… Continue
Whether you're a fan of McDonald's or not, you have to give ad agency Leo Burnett props for this creative ad. Oversized bowls of dipping sauce sit at the base of elevators in one of Shanghai's most popular shopping malls. As each elevator descends, the McNuggets appear to dip into the sauce. The use of motion and the visual effect it creates make it extremely effective!
Irish artist PJ Tierney created a set of 19 posters to celebrate the 2011 Formula 1 World Championship season. The posters were inspired by James White's Tron Legacy Countdown series, as well as his own personal passion for "the greatest motorsport in the world."…
Talk about a creative workspace! Inventionland, America's largest invention factory, brings 2,000 ideas to life each year. Just how does the company do it? Look inside their offices and you'll find a huge hint.
Founder and CEO George Davison built a 70,000 square-foot wonderland to inspire and delight his employees. Walk around and you'll experience 16 unique themed sets, including a… Continue
If you were blown away by Andrew Myers' screw art, you'll be equally impressed with these nail art compositions. Marcus Levine can take up to three weeks to create one of these pieces but that's not the crazy part. Levine is known for putting, quite literally, his blood, sweat and tears into each… Continue
Last year, artists Jean-Pierre Roy and MIchael Kagan had a brilliant idea. They would recycle the countless, used MetroCards New Yorkers mindlessly throw away and turn them into something amazing. These discarded pieces of trash would serve as canvases on which to create miniature works of art. They would call the show Single Fare.
Well, Roy and Kagen fulfilled their dream and… Continue

After Judy Gelles learned about the deeply troubling stories of inner city 4th graders, she became even more curious. What were 4th grade children experiencing in different schools not just in the US but around the world? Across cultures, which values remained the same and which were starkly… Continue
This funny video by Google is flying around the web today and for good reason. "More than 80 percent of our communication is body language," says one "expert." And Gmail Motion will "free the Gmail user from ... the constraints that modern society ... put on the human body," says another. Nice one, Google. Way to make April Fools' Day fun!
Got to love this retort on YouTube:
"I prefer to type my emails with Morse Code 2 techology or dance dance revolution pad… Continue
