Started in 2005 by Jonas Bendiksen, "The Places We Live" is a project about urban poverty and slums. The purpose is document how families live in the poorest conditions around the world. Taking 3 years to complete, Jonas visited dozens of families in four slums around the world.
The project consists of first hand narratives of families that live in the slums along with panoramic pictures of their living conditions.
