“In a mad world, only the mad are sane.”

My first impressions of Tokyo are as follows. I've really enjoyed it here so far.

- After every few sentences when they translate what I say, the clients often laugh even though I didn't tell a joke.

- The elevators run really slow here. So slow it is hard to tell when you are actually moving in them.

Sir Tim Berners-Lee, inventor of the World Wide Web, received the Webby Lifetime Achievement Award

The 13th annual Webby Awards took place at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City on June 8, 2009.

The Webbys and the Emcee

Saturday Night Live's Seth Meyers was a dope emcee at the 13th annual Webby Awards, which took place at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City on June 8, 2009.

"I love when old media praises new media," he said. "It's like when an old guy says how much he likes the tennis pro his wife is fucking."

About the guy who tweets as his cat (and has 600,000+ followers), he said, "Just think: five years ago if you wanted to know what a guy… Continue

The Webbys and the Hubby

The 13th annual Webby Awards took place at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City on June 8, 2009. For those of you who don't know, this is what funds Rachel Zoe's endless acquisition of vintage Halston gowns and fur coats (her husband Rodger Berman is the founder of the awards).

Rachel Zoe is my hero and I would never, ever stop watching her BRAVO reality show for as long as I live, or whenever the network cancels it, whichever comes first. But I thought her… Continue
