The best use of typography I've ever seen. Key words and economic phrases take the form of helicopters, fighter jets, tanks, and explosions—all obstacles we fight as we make our way toward a brighter future. The POV camera work and excellent sound creates a genuine sense of warfare and chaos as we duck in and around bunkers and dodge word-made… Continue
The guys at Atypyk take the iconic face of America’s first president to interesting artistic heights with the "One Dollar Project." With the $1 bill as their canvas, they give boring ole Georgie a crash course in pop culture with a much needed makeover. A great example of making the ordinary, extraordinary.…

Yu Tsai studied at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. He lives in Los Angeles and New York.…

There's something really refreshing about the artwork of Erin McCarty of Portland. Her colorful paintings exude a great deal of vibrance, artistic freedom, and life. I like how she doesn't keep her work "inside the box", but instead allows herself to untap what's going on in her subconscious.…
Oh to be in New York! Tomorrow, Domino Magazine really says goodbye by putting on a tag sale of their leftover goodies. There will be furniture, fashion and decorative objects all under $500 (and most things under $10). It will be held at the 19th-century brownstone of Tom Delavan, Domino's former editor at large. So not only do you get to shuffle through 1,500… Continue
