Quote of 1,500 Plastic Army Men (5 pics)

Disney is offering 1 million volunteers FREE admission in 2010

In order to spur people to volunteer, Disney is giving away 1,000,000 FREE one-day tickets. The "Give a Day, Get a Disney Day" program will provide certified volunteers with a one-day ticket to any park at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif., or Walt Disney World near Orlando, Fla., in 2010.

1,000 Melting Soldiers: Berlin (9 pics)



"I'm mellllttttiiinggg!!!" That what I would say if I were one of these ice soldiers melting away in the Berlin sun.



Brazilian artist Nele Azevedo carved 1,000 miniature figurines out of ice and placed them on steps in central Gendarmenmarkt square. It was all part of an effort by the World Wildlife Fund to draw attention to melting ice caps in Greenland…

Too Cool or Lookin' Like a Fool?: Nike Women Air Max 1

I've never really been a tennis shoes person but I'm interested in knowing whether or not a trend will take off. These Nike plaid kicks are for women and though, for the life of me, I'll probably never wear them, I'm sure someone will.
