The winner of the best in show prize at the 2009 Westminster Dog Show was chosen yesterday. He was a Sussex Spaniel named Stump who was 10 years old, the equivalent of 70 in human years. Way to go old fella. You beat out seven youngins for the premier prize at the country's oldest dog show. Final contestants included a Scottish deerhound named Tiger Woods, a Puli known for its dreadlocks and a nervous Scottish terrier.

Liv Tyler graces the cover of the March 2009 issue of Wonderland Magazine. The 31 year old Lord of the Rings actress doesn't have much going on with her career at the moment, but at least she's lookin' good! Props to photographer Miguel Reveriego who did a great job in making these shots look really artsy.…

Chinese American couture fashion designer Jason Wu, who designed Michelle Obama's inauguration gown, premiered his Resort 2009 collection in September 2008. The collection of gracious, shapely dresses looks as though the designer had the first lady in mind all along.
It's official, Jason Wu, the 26 year old Taipei-born fashion designer, is a star tonight.
In an elegant, creamy one-shoulder Grecian style gown designed by Wu, beloved first lady Michelle Obama slow danced like a blushing bride with her love and the love of the nation, U.S. President Barack Obama, while Beyonce sang the Etta James classic "At Last" at the Leadoff Neighborhood Inaugural Ball in Washington, DC. The ball is one… Continue
Televisions are always one of the main attractions at CES. In past years, manufacturers battled it out to produce the biggest screens - this year they are competing for the thinnest. This JVC is a piece of art. It weighs 5kg (11 lbs) and is a mere 7mm (0.27 in) thick. The display sits atop a curvy helix-like stand that adds lightness… Continue
The 2009 People's Choice Awards, took over the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Wednesday, January 7, 2009. The 35th annual CBS ceremony presented results of votes from some 13 million fans.
Queen Latifah, this year's host, flailed about with abandon like an over-zealous Southern Baptist preacher from the church of Lil' Jon, screaming "Yes we can" over and over as the show started. Isn't the campaign over? The Jello is jiggling in… Continue
This whimsical ad for Audi's new crossover vehicle, the Q5, brings out the little boy in me. I would totally buy this car!
3.2 FSI engine, quattro all-wheel drive, 6-speed tiptronic and a longer wheelbase. The "side assist" uses radar sensors and turns on lights in the exterior mirrors to notify you if a vehicle is… Continue
The big countdown begins! Less than two weeks remains until the most anticipated inauguration of the century. Of course, the part I am most eagerly looking forward to is what Michelle Obama will wear to the Ball, or Balls, rather. The word around Dupont Circle is that the Obamas will attend a record breaking… Continue

I wonder how many guys out there dream about this car at night. Some call it the sports-car value of the year, others call it the sports-car value of the decade. The 2009 Nissan GT-R is priced at $77,000, but its performance matches that of a $200,000 supercar. Inside the beastly twin-turbo, 3.8-liter V6’s aluminum engine block, the walls surrounding the pistons receive… Continue
Here's a peak at the new Nissan 370Z, which will debut officially at the 2008 Los Angeles Auto Show. The look is smoother and more organic than the current model. Nissan has yet to confirm what changes it's made beneath the metal, but it's safe to assume from the name alone that the larger 3.7-liter V6 from the Infiniti G37 will reside under that new hood. In the… Continue

The last couple years I have been fascinated with Brazil and have been wanting to go there. I'm going to try and make it to Rio's Carnaval early next year.
Rio de Janeiro has long been regarded as the Carnival Capital of the World. The Rio Carnaval is not only the biggest Carnival benchmark against which every other carnival is compared but also one of the most interesting artistic events on the Globe. Foreign visitors to it alone… Continue
