Boat Magically Floats Above Water

When I first saw this image, I had a hard time figuring out what was really going on. Was the boat floating above water? Was it Photoshopped? Is this some kind of sorcery? After analyzing the image more, I've come to the conclusion that the water is just so clear that it makes the boat appear to be floating! Manhattan Bridge Projection Mapping

Projection mapping is always a thrill to watch. This time around, the Manhattan Bridge was used as the backdrop for a large-scale video art exhibit as part of the DUMBO Arts Festival, which took place a few weeks ago. The project, entitled Immersive Surfaces, presents over a dozen video pieces from an international group of artists.
