Strange, surreal, but so well-executed. Love this crazy but interesting portrait. "Personally, I have a hard time seeing a specific style through my work — I am also okay with that," says Karrah Kobus, the photographer, to Henry Nahurski
. Although, I would describe the style I love, and aspire… Continue

Today's Pic of the Day is by Deviant artist Winter Ghost. It shows what would happen if a giant hand descended from the sky, attempting to take away a strawberry.
The Singapore-based artist shared her process:
"Done on Photoshop CS2, but all you really need is layers, crop tool, eraser, and dropper tool. I took two photos of the picture, one with the strawberry and one without, because i… Continue

Love this creative idea...a faceless family portrait! It was taken by the self-described "insanely happy interior designer and photographer" Lori Andrews (aka the 10 Cent Designer). Lori took this photo of her clients and then had it blown up very large for the kitchen. Interestingly, since Lori is a photographer and interior designer, she also worked on spiffing up her client's house! For the… Continue

Now this is a creative engagement shot! When undergraduate student Jeremy Blanchard was asked to take engagement photos of his friends, he decided to do something a little different. Instead of taking a boring old photo of two lovebirds wrapped in each other's arms, he made his friends look like ghostly figures walking toward each other, symbolizing them "falling" in love.
