This Beautiful and Fleeting Youth (15 photos)

If you don't believe that some people are just born with a natural gift, then you haven't met Tony Katai. When he was just 13 years old, Tony bought an old Nikon film camera from his friend and started shooting. Now at 18, he's able to take such interesting photos that even Urban Outfitters says… Continue

Wonderfully Timeless Contemporary Photography (20 photos)

Croatia-born photographer Stanko Abadžic finds beauty in simple moments. Shot in black and white, his street photography is characterized by strong contrasts of light and dark, his attention to geographic forms and his eye for long shadows.

What I love most about his photos (aside from the slightly surreal nature to them) is that they look they're from the the 1930s or 1940s when, in fact,… Continue

This Old Spice Parody is Awesome!

If there is one thing the internet has taught me, it's to never underestimate the amount of creativity in this world. This hilarious Old Spice parody was created by BYU students for the Harold B. Lee Library at Brigham Young University. A team of two full time employees and about 10 students at the Multimedia Production unit came up with the idea, shot it, and edited it in less than a month. The actor is BYU student, Stephen Jones...a dapper, young fellow, I might… Continue

What To Do with My Walls..Maybe This

I repainted my walls. And for some time now...I've been pondering about what else to do with them. While looking for options I stubled upon these. I quite like them. The Pong one is cool. Might go for something like that, just to test it out. Still thinking about it.

It's not a completely new idea, But... these leave no marks when it's removed. So whether you leave it on or take it down..there will be regrets. And it enables you to… Continue

This is Karma by Erling Hoveid

A little long but a beautifully shot documentary on karma. Just what is karma? Hoveid dives a little deeper to find out.

THEME: This is a documentary about the philosophy of karma. I am into eastern philosophy which I find to have a lot of truth in it. I wanted to make a film that conveys the idea that we are all basically the same. And I also wanted to make an informative film about what karma really is in case people are… Continue
