Zaha Hadid on Installation Art



For Milan's Design Week, celebrated Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid created a vortex-like three-dimensional structure in the 16th-century setting of Milan's State University. Called Twirl, it was made for Interni magazine's Mutant Architecture and Design event as as a contemporary study on courtyard architecture. Burnham Pavilion by Zaha Hadid Opens!: Chicago

Chanel Mobile Art

Daring (and damn expensive) mobile installation commemorating the 50th year of the Chanel handbag. Designed by Karl Lagerfeld's head fghg since 2006, Zaha Hadid, who is known for "highly futuristic designs, some of them so complex in conception that they are impossible to build" - say what? My designs are totally the same way.
