Oscar Wilde's Face Made of His Own Words

One day, artist Erika Iris Simmons decided to tackle a unique project. Taking nothing but pages from Oscar Wilde's book The Picture of Dorian Gray and glue, she would create a portrait of the Irish poet and author. Every few days, she documented the process as she "sculpted" his features. Using scissors, she'd cut strips of the book and then with an X-acto knife she'd create contours of the face. I Feel Relatively Neutral About New York

How do you really feel about New York? Well, we all know how we're supposed to feel. Sure, it's one of the best cities in the world and we would be a fool to not give her the respect she deserves (we are called My Modern Metropolis, right?) but don't we all… Continue
