Big Geezers, curated by The London Police, opens on November 8 at Scion’s 4,500 square foot Installation L.A. Gallery in Culver City. BIG GEEZERS represents a would-be family of European and American artists who, over several years, have met, worked together and traveled the globe in search of adventure, hope and good times.
Friday's lunch took me to see my wonderful friend, Kaz, at S&W Country Diner in Culver City. You may remember Kaz from a while back, we met through Jon the filmmaker, who I met at Pippin, which I sent to because of Mary Seibert's suggestion. Did you follow? :)

I've been really excited about this Korean restaurant opening up on the Westside since it is now up against Wharo in Marina del Rey. It's always good to see a little competition, keeps everyone on their toes. Also, I'm always interested in seeing how ethnic restaurants update their look to appeal to a wider audience.

Eugene, Annie, Sam and I went out to the soft launch of Rush Street last night. Rush Street is a bar/restaurant/lounge in Culver City that's adding to the whole revitalization of that area. It's across the street from Tender Greens and right next to the new Korean restaurant that's coming in called Gyenari.
