My Directorial Debut on Avatar

Now that the hype is done and over with, I'm allowed to spill the beans! I've been working on Avatar for the past three and a half years and during that time I was lucky enough to shoot a little mockumentary based on the making of the film. The video above is just the trailer, but be sure to check out the entire 35 minutes when you crack open your Avatar Blu Ray for the Holidays!

Photorealistic iPad Finger Painting

Now this is how to embrace the iPad! When American realist David Jon Kassan started thinking of creative ways to use the iPad, he decided that a fingerpainting demo would be in order. On Monday, June 21st, he streamed the demo live from his Brooklyn studio. Refreshingly Honest Oil Paintings (6 total)

Painting domestic scenes filled with heavy emotion, Baker wants you to feel the weight of the world on your shoulders. Filled with honesty, his paintings are tragically beautiful. The rich colors make the paintings look almost photorealistic, don't they?…

Simple and Sweet Graphic Design - Christopher David Ryan (20 Total)

Does art have to get any more complicated than this? Christopher David Ryan is a graphic artist based in Maine who describes himself as "a daydreamer, pseudo-scientist, wanna-be astronaut and untrained intellectual." He cites music, the universe, the human condition and natural phenomena as things that inspire his work. We love his simple design and sweet messages of…
