Interesting lines, that Kelly green, I'm intrigued by this dressing table by Angela Adams. Dwell once called it a combination of "very serious Swedish modern and a praying mantis." I call it eye-catching and interesting. What do you think?…

Half Wild West and half Indian Rope Trick, the Catching The Wild coat rack is a startling sight. It’s constructed from steel and polyester rope formed into a remarkably convincing lasso. If you feel like all your coats are starting to get away from you, this is just the thing.

Oh to be in New York! Tomorrow, Domino Magazine really says goodbye by putting on a tag sale of their leftover goodies. There will be furniture, fashion and decorative objects all under $500 (and most things under $10). It will be held at the 19th-century brownstone of Tom Delavan, Domino's former editor at large. So not only do you get to shuffle through 1,500… Continue

I'm in love with this bookshelf! Sure, it probably belongs in my 2 year old niece's bedroom instead of mine but that's ok, right? Note to self...paint one wall of our bedroom sky blue...

Even with a little help and a lot of money I don't think I could get my house to look like this but boy, isn't it nice to dream. SMA Spa was founded in 1960 by four experienced entrepreneurs within the furniture sector. Combining the latest technologies and top Italian designers, SMA Spa is now producing a wide range of modern design furniture. Take away all the… Continue

The Nottage Design G-1 is a pretty cool modern redesign of a classic old school game. This glass-topped pool table features a transparent playing area with a glass top and patented resin playing surface. The patented transparent Vitrik playing surface is used instead of the traditional felt surface. It gives resistance to rolling balls, just like cloth does. The… Continue

By far one of the coolest tables I have ever seen is designed by John Nouanesing
. Called "Paint or Die, But Love Me" this table has that wet, glossy paint look that makes you do a double take. It almost reminds me of bright nail red polish that's been spilled by your mischievous little brother.… Continue

Sitting in my makeshift home office, I long for the day when I can create an office as beautiful as this! By Molly Luetkemeyer's M. Design Interiors, this office is modern and hip without being stuffy and boring. You can tell that Molly's worked with the one and only Kelly Wearstler (of the Viceroy, Avalon Hotel and Maison 140) because she has a similar point of view.… Continue

The Lili Lite is a reading light with an auto sensor and a book shelf all in one. Brilliant! A sensor turns off the light when an open book is placed on the shelf. When the book is picked up again, the light automatically turns on. Hmm ... It also has a switch to turn the light on and off manually. Oh alright.

Was that a gratuitous shot of Angelina with a martini to grab your attention? You betcha! Truth be told I'm not a big drinker but when I see a piece of furniture that make me want to put away my Diet Coke and instead take a swig of Johnny Walker Blue, you know it's good baby!
Buy these two bar sets and you'll be the life of the party. Just remember to invite… Continue

Indoor plants never get enough sunlight no matter where you place them and it's annoying to keep shuffling them around all the time to get maximum sun exposure. Didn't you ever wish that they could just sprout legs and find their own damn sunlight? The Play Coalition
designed this four-legged contraption so you can spend more time playing Madden 09 and less time… Continue

My apologies for taking Monday off last week. But we're back. It's My Modern Mondays and today we'll be talking about modern mirrors.
Something beautiful about a nicely designed mirror. They can serve as an art piece in your living room, enhancing the space and making the room come alive. Here are my favorites.
